Our organization is founded by University of Florida student and Emergent Counseling and Consulting administrator Deena Rey Sybonie Cameron. Our founder has been passionate about mental health since her first psychology course at age 14. Throughout high school and college, she has explored her interest in psychology through several courses and volunteering efforts. In 2022, Deena Rey was faced with a slew of personal obstacles that gave her a more personal insight into the challenges faced by those experiencing mental health challenges. On January 23, 2023, Deena Rey decided to start her own business catering to the needs of youth in the community that share similar struggles.
